Is "Aint No Ni**a" the WORST quality sounding song on a retail album?

I think it has to do w the sample and using analog techniques as opposed to digital. If u listen to a lot of 90s era lps before the pro tools generation, a lot of the mixes have an in audible hiss that's present on a lot of records. A lot of engineers I've talked to actually prefer the warmth of these songs in comparison to the super clean sound of today. To each his own.

"Ain't No nikka" was the BIGGEST song from "Reasonable Doubt" as far as the mainstream. Song is a Classic straight up. Without that song, Jay is an underground rapper. That song is one of the biggest reason "Reasonable Doubt" even went Gold. It also was a huge introduction to the mainstream for Foxy even though she was on "I shot Ya" remix this was the song that people really paid attention to her. Video was dope too with the Biggie Cameo:

LOL @ that intro:

"Jay What's happening, Where's Frank"

LOL @ Jay waking up Biggie's groupie's.

:usure: Dead Presidents? Regrets? Coming of Age? Can I Live? Can't Knock the Hustle? Politics as Usual?

I don't really care about the songs you listed..."Ain't no ni**a" and "Feelin It" are my top songs from that album...

I think in most cases, Jay-Z's singles are his best songs...Jay Z flows better on his singles, and he sounds more convincingly arrogant on his singles...
