Revisionists remixing history yet again, 🫡.

Song was dope…that’s why it worked for Jigga, aside from Foxy’s verse being the clear highlight. I don’t even remember the quality of it so I won’t speak on that part, 🤷🏽‍♂️, shh sounded alright to me from what I remember, lol.

Epmd used it 1st

yes. they did, but absolutely no one looped it like Jaz. I thought Jaz was bullshyttin when he was discussing how he chopped it up, but he was 100% correct. The song can't be looped perfectly, so he had to chop it up into several pieces and trigger it off the snare. It doesn't loop perfectly.

I prefer the 90s warmth to todays clearness. Whenever i see a classic demoish sounding hip hop record and see a comment saying it sounds like shyt i die a little inside. These kids dont know struggle. They dont know recording off ya 13” tv speaker. Bums

It’s like when HD TV came out and everything weird like soap opera’s. Sometimes I prefer the older look of movies and the sound of older music. Sometimes the new stuff sounds so glossy that it’s overstimulating. When I worked nights I got into 1940’s-70’s jazz because the muffled sound was relaxing.
