Reigns would've been money had they simply booked him as a Goldberg-like badass, just mauling people, and not saying much. Unfortunately, this is the WWE, and it's like they booked him with multiple personality disorder. One week he's telling bad jokes, the next he's making up awful catchphrases, the next week he's too cool for school, and the week after that he's a "madman". I honestly don' even know what Reigns' natural personality is.

Ambrose on the other hand, even thought as a face he's way too wacky and animated, I still know exactly who he is, nothing feels unnatural, and the crowd has responded in kind. The WWE needs to learn how to let things naturally take course instead of trying to force shyt. Reigns ALMOST had the crowd completely on his side, then the WWE totally blew it.

That would of helped him..the Goldberg no joke persona but he still would of hit roadblocks because they WANTED TO STEP on Daniel Bryan to make him look superior. And that was gonna lead to issues no matter how good his booking was...

Yet another symptom of trying to make him Cena 2.0. One week its super patriot All-American Cena, then its tough talking badass John using slang and calling everyone son, then its southern preacher Cena, then its pandering company narrator Cena, then he brings the rapper gimmick back, then its goofy poop joke Cena, then its ppvbro smug politicking Cena. Only difference is Roman is new and not established and is less natural of a talker so all the changes are even more obvious and cringeworthy.

Do you not understand the concept of using a visual device (tape) in place of actually physically selling? Because Dean's hurt ribs he was selling for "months" didn't stop him from doing 30 dives and wacky lines per week with no issues. Or top rope standing elbow drops. Or ...whatever his one other move is. That's not selling, breh.

I think they're doing a perfect job with AJ so far. You have to remember that most of their audience doesn't know him, and they've made the audience care about him in just a few weeks to where he gets chants and apparently is already selling a ton of merch.

They didn't do shyt to "make" him. He came in already made which is why he's selling merch just like Joe, Owens, Finn, etc.

I pretty much ignored that but very good point. All they had to do was book Reigns like I mentioned without trying to stymie Bryan's momentum. With the lack of too faces (now and then), Reigns could've benefitted as being a top level face WITH Bryan instead of at the expense of Bryan. Now look at where the WWE is at --- a retired beloved Bryan and a totally flustered Reigns, with Ambrose being the beneficiary in the eyes of the fans.

Roman doesn't even have Jericho's mic skills or Punk's mic skills yet ALONE prime Rock..wtf The Rock was doing all kind of slick ingenius $hit in 97 and 98. Roman puts on contacts to make his eyes look like a Justin Beiber #1 fan and says $hit like "This is REAL LIFE" to BORING chants.

I've always hated that about Reigns, why does he wear contacts? Because horny girls think blue eyes are hotter than brown eyes? And they wonder why grown men are struggling to back him

He barely got a reaction on Raw with Jericho, and then the next week on Miz TV it was silent. Until the end of the segment, which had fans chanting for him and cheering him on to beat Miz's ass. I'd say that's doing a good job with him.
