Antifa is like the “alt right”. It’s a group of people with a common ideology that can sometimes gather together but it’s not an organization with official members, offices, headquarters or a president/ceo.
As opposed to organizations that have (or had) official members, leadership, etc. The Black Panthers, The Proud Boys

Declaring a war on an ideology makes it easy to justify infringing on people’s rights, because then you can always use a vague excuse to justify overreaching acts, as a means of national security.

Antifa is a thing, but its not as centralized as, say MAGA, or BLM, or the KKK etc
