I think this is the problem.. The negative connotation attached to being labeled as "boring"...

Are you ok with being bored AND BORING.
I can honestly say I'm ok with being "boring" too.. Its not my thing (nor my duty) to keep mfs entertained engaged or interested.
If you're around me and I don't have shyt to do or talk about

A nice scotch and some cards and a couple familiar faces and I'm good.
I haven't been able to still for the past 5 months. I had a day to myself and read a book. so i'm happy about that.
I don't like tv, internet, or movies; it's saturated with negativity. Concerts are too wild and at this point corny to me, and clubs got played out a while ago because it was always trouble. So the first 6 months of letting all that go was fine, but finding new things to do sucks. Like I go to church and do other spiritual things now. They're keep me sane, but I don't feel much in my heart about the way I'm living now.
Thinking of starting to learn bass guitar again. I just bought a new one.

Yep, as I get older a quiet, comfortable evening to myself with my computer, TV show, video game, movie etc. is all I need.

For the most part, yeah. No music or videogames, no problem. There is ALWAYS shyt to read, so I'm good in that regards.
However I'm simple as hell, give me enough free time and I can just sit back and daydream and be occupied for the time being.
Been doing that all my life, really. I often find myself buying a bottle of beer and just chill watching folks go by their daily when I just want to sit and be. I find mundane shyt like that entertaining to be honest.
all i need is the coli and youtube and netflix and you will never be bored. add podcasts too and playing on your phone i.e. instagram, facebook, snapchat.
