Is anyone doing Uber or Lyft as a side hustle?

Has anyone did those weekly rentals for Lyft/Uber? Worth it?

None of these things fit for me. I work mainly outside of DC but live far away from DC so it doesn't work.

You mean 15 hours stretched over a week right? Otherwise that ain't that great for packing 15 hours into 2-3 days. Barely above min. wage in some states.

I haven't personally driven but I use the service pretty much 5 days a week to and from work and usually talk with my drivers about their experiences driving. There's a lot of money to be made but you have to be motivated. I've talked to people who set quotas for themselves, for example, one guy I met says he doesn't stop for the day until he's made $200 and he's also in school.

The superbowl will be hosted here next month and he's challenging himself to make $1,000 a day, it sounds ridiculous but that's the kind of spirit you gotta have when the amount of money you make is only limited to how much time you're willing to spend making it.

If I was in college I would do it. Make your own hours and prolly market some off the books rides through campus

I didn't mean to put 15 hours I would say more like 9. And it depends when you drive.

I average about 25 dollars an hour before they take their but which gives me about 20.

Ok, for that money it would be worth it...for a second I thought it was going to be like $11-12/hr. Don't get me wrong, I would do any hustle to put food on the table but I wouldn't call something that low a prize gig.
