Is anyone else, fun factor >>>>> graphics when it comes to gaming?

For some reason, I think the online ruined the game if you think about it.

Back then, we have NES, SNES, GENIUS, SATURN, DREAMCAST, PS1, PS2, N64. Most of them own them console don't have online until the online became popular and online ruined the fun factor and graphic at the same time.

literally, your taking care of your farm, the gameplay is simple yet solid and the replay value is more than the latest Call of Duty or Halo. You actually feel like your accomplishing something

Not really, too much melodrama. I do love a good jrpg but for the most part as I've gotten older, when they start quoting nietzsche or plato my brain turns off.

aint just talkin JRPGs, games like Ninja Gaiden, Shinobi, Yakuza, Shenmue, Killer7 all got some pretty good story and gameplay to them.

there are more games by japanese devs that arent JRPGs, but these are just the ones that come off the top of my head. I know there are also some games that are Visual novels that got some really really good story telling to them (kinda like books) such as Danganronpa and Corpse Party on the PSP & Steam

Yup and it helps to be a nintendo gamer in that regards or playing japanese games in general a lot of these western games forget that(of course not all). A lot of popular genres are recycled with different skins or control setups.

Games like TLOU/UC/God of War/Metroid Prime disprove this. Best looking at the time and was fun as hell.

Ive honestly said that id take the ps2 era gfx (polygon count) as long as it was HD and fun. Hell I played max payne 1 a couple months back and had a blast.

As long as the story and the gameplay is there I can deal with not 100% lifelike "Oh shyt I can see the grit on their teeth" graphics

I don't give af about seeing dust particles on some broads face or "realistic hair physics". Just give me a game with high replay value and i'm straight. nikkas gonna be out here spending $1000+ total playing trash games saying "but but but it looks like real life and in 4K". Why would I buy a 4K TV and a new console just to play garbage games with better graphics? I'm better off with the first system and playing the same games even if the graphics aren't as good. Hell i still play some PS3 games and played Bully yesterday because it was fun back in the day

Both are important. I literally got motion sickness from fallout 4 so bad that I traded the game in after 1 day so I can't say that fun factor overweights graphics in all scenarios

What I peep is this heart felt post right. But then I see you only have a playstation logo which is odd because that system is built around having shytty looking games that look great. The xbox on the otherhand has consistently come out with FANTASTIC titles since 2013. The playstation fanbase has talked negatively about everyone. WHile nikkaz wait for spiderman, you should try Sunset Overdrive which was given away for free.. can be had for the low. Quantum break, Forza Horizon 3 drops in 2weeks, recore comes out tomorrow I think? Gears next month, Halo 5 really is the best FPS game to release this gen and I wasn't much of a Halo fan after Halo 2.
