it is infant mutilation. my family is Catholic, so they had that shyt done to me at the hospital when i was a newborn. nothings broken or anything like that, but i feel like its something that should be decided on your own when you become of age. i reject Catholicism and i feel like i was mutilated, tbh. i talked to my dad about it and my mom never even told him she did it.

It's not cac shyt though. Many traditional communities have been practicing it notably as part of a rite of passage from boyhood towards manhood (and prob an ancient hygienic tool). And that's regardless of their religious beliefs, it's not even the legacy of Abrahamic religions.
Matter of fact, besides children of immigrants, western europeans typically do not get circumcised.
Now you could say it's uncivilized, barbaric, useless and that it has no place in the modern world, you're entitled to that opinion
