Is anyone else's iPod starting to be less rap and more of other music?

naa..hiphop will always & forever be the main music i listen to..i listen to shyt from the 80's on up to shyt from today..and i admit that todays rap is like 90% trash, but i still get a lil thrill of discovering/finding new SONGS (rarely whole albums/mixtapes) that i like..

i just can't relate to/feel nuthin else ..i got a select few songs of old school r&b shyt like anita baker & the isley brothers, and thats bout it..

Listen to Corrine Bailey Rae's two solo albums....plus the cover album she did in 2010....its only like 5 songs or something though...

also can check out the "steady as she goes" type of unreleased songs she had...

I love the OP, hes got a cute style but I can't co-sign this thread.

As hip hop fans we're supposed to be closed minded and ignant. Im not tryin to get my hip hop pass revoked, I got 30 gigabytes of rap on my ipod and thats it thats all.

My iPod is probably a 60/40 ratio when it comes to hip-hip and everything else. Most of the other stuff is older house/techno/trance and indie rock.

I don't really dig many newer rappers....most of the hip-hop artists on my iPod are those who I grew up (mostly older stuff, but I'll have newer stuff if its good)

It's really just branching out, and personal growth.
