Is anyone here desensitized towards mass shootings?

I'm not gonna lie I had to take a break from reading into the Buffalo supermarket shooting.i just with that manifesto and all that 4ch@n racist stuff, it was really just putting me in a bad and really angry headspace and making me insanely hostile for a bit.
No, but im fukking tired and nothing gets done about these things. Climate change gonna crush the building, im tired, cant do shyt about it. Rents? Energy prices? Poverty?
You name it. Anyone who cares about anything that isn't directly about themselves has to be fukking tired by now. The folks who can do something about it either choose to do nothing or have ideologues behind them who won't let things change.

I think we all are more than we would like to admit. I mean, I’m a normal society, when something like this happens, the whole entire society comes together to figure out how to fix it, and don’t stop until it gets fixed. I know I didn’t actually do anything but be very sad, and tell my loved ones how much I love them. If we truly thought about what just happened, and how truly horrific it was, there would be chaotic civil unrest, and we would be holding everybody that contributed to this accountable.

But, it's funny, a few mass shootings a year and we think society is breaking down.
Meanwhile, kids in the middle East can't go outside during a clear day because they're maybe a drone strike.
Or we could be Syria;

No. I actually get angrier after each one. Which is why I don’t spend much time in the threads discussing them for my own sanity.
