Corniness, low budget and stereotypes aside, at least that show tried to do something creative with a black cast. Damn near all black media is grounded in reality and it gets old. How often do we get to go to space, pilot ships or do any cool shyt

At that exact same time star trek deep space nine had black captain in charge of a space station

How old were you when this came out?


UPN was getting backlash during this time because of the quality & themes of the shows they were pumping out..

They even made a sitcom out of slavery :mjpls:
