It's first game....not as serious as people might want to make it. Not an SEC game......Threw a couple of passes into the endzone at the end to win. That's suppose to be the #2 team....Well then I like what I see if we improve.

shyt we got a top 25 defense like what was expected. Its all about Gus. We only go as far as Gus takes this offense. We'll see about that. I like our receivers, our backs (we only showed 3 smh), offensive line got better at the end. Jeremy is dead weight, but Sean/JF3 are alright. Gotta make something out of that

I think he made the right decision not to let John pass....I don't think it would have worked out well. He doesn't have a handle on the offense like Sean does right now, if ever. The obvious deal is Sean can run the passing game, and JF3 scares teams on the read option.

That's exactly why I said he should've passed. They were playing the run and would've been caught napping and Franklin never even ran, teams will catch on eventually and figure can he actually run read option or is he just handing it off

I think it was something to the rumors that Watson was injured. He took that knee brace off during fall practice and magically it's back on. I thought it was b.s. but it has me wondering. He looked off during that ESPN interview.

He can run the read.....He did it in junior college. We'll see what next week has in store though........I feel good about the D. You play one of the best quarterbacks and hold them to 19 points?? They might have only had 15 if Matthews hadn't gotten that personal foul near the redzone.....could have held them to a field goal there, and then the end would have been about needing a field goal instead of a touchdown.

this one of those games you expect to learn from, but with Gus I don't know. Learning how to win might not ever happen.

CHUUCH... What these sunshine pumpers are conveniently forgetting is that Auburn had the same red zone issues last year, and it appears they have carried over to this year..... Except this year, there isn't an NFL quality running back to take some pressure off the QB..... Georgia, Alabama, LSU, and Ole Miss will have better defenses..... The only SEC win that's on the schedule is Vanderbilt....... and if Gus goes 1-6 in the SEC, its time to fuel up the jet and go down to Kentucky...
