It's declining not dying. Eventually it will plateau a still do very well just like hockey. It does help that this year you had the big markets do well.

I love baseball.
Usually just keep my mouth shut when People talk bad about it.
Usually the reason they don't like it is because they find it boring. Hey to each his own.
But come playoff time/big game...
The same things that make people say it's boring.. "the pitcher throws a pitch. The batter steps out the box pitchers steps off the mound etc etc"
All that time in between the action in a big game especially late just builds so much tension
