OP, the answer depends on the person ...:manny:

And for someone to be able to answer it depends on how one truly feels about monogamy and their circumstance/lifestyle.

If the two people actually like monogamy and everything that a monogamous relationship entails then yeah a relationship in 2016 (and beyond for that matter) is actually a damn good thing.


Now on the flip side, if one or both people ain't really monogamous individuals deep down, but are trying anyway just because they enjoy each others company or like the title/label of a committed relationship etc then that's when it prolly a bad idea. :patrice:

that's kind of the way it should have always been, not getting to know someone before sleeping with them or getting into a relationship with them is why so many people are bitter.

i know too many people that had sex first then dated and they're currently in loveless relationship being held together with co-dependency.

For me, it's hard because I'm genuinely ready to get to know them and all they want to do is talk about sex or innunedos or some other shyt. I end up bushing them for that reason. Let's go on a few dates and shyt before we jump in bed...and by a few dates i mean dates where i can learn about you as a person and enjoy your non-sexual company

Exactly people end up bitter and mad at the world. I've heard the story about this chick being a gold digger or a hoe from my homies so many times. Dudes just dive into a relationship right away

Same thing with chicks talking bout how dude cheated on me or whooped my ass. Be theral in your evaluation and you can avoid the dumb shyt

It's always worth it if that's what you want. All relationship and trust of other ppl requires u to be vulnerable in some sense. There's always a chance u will be played/cheated on etc. but that's not a reason to give up. Go for it. If it doesn't work out, give yourself time to heal, learn from your mistakes and move on. Never give up on love and companionship. <3
