No generational wealth = poor. Slavery, police, and CAC politics made sure we won’t get a piece of the pie

I'm realizing a lot of these newer posters are spitting out right wing/alt-right talking points.

Be Black in America and not be aware of systematic povery brehs.

Breh the origin of my thread is a convo my boy had with my BM pops.

My boy who is a Black American was at my crib talking to my BM pops who is Jamaican.

My boy was going on about living in the projects and being damn near poor. And pops asked him.

Well what is poor. He continued saying it's a state of mind that you have which makes you feel poor. Too much to put but that's the base of my OP

The Wrong Side of the Tracks
Let's make this simple: Black people control about 2-3% of this country's wealth and have been here as long as Caucasians.

WE
are poor.

WE will remain poor until WE become producers instead of consumers.

IDGAF what you have in your 401k.

When you die, if you have no children, your money will not go to Black people.

Out of curiosity is everyone still living in that slum situation? Since you made it out have you gone back to help or educate a cousin or someone else to get out
I was giving an example, I personally didn't grow up in a slum. But I live in a neighborhood that surrounds projects, where my friends grew up, most went to my church when they were younger, and the nearby schools.
If I could find a photo of me and a bunch of the neighborhood kids, I could cross out 4 or 5 that are dead now, a bunch more that are in prison, and even one that's locked up in a mental hospital right now.

Poverty isn't just lack of money, it literally dehumanises you.

What about the ones that grew up in that same environment. Same everything maybe even worse. They made it out and successful.

They didn't choose their growing environment but they chose how they got out. Which goes back to the OP is it a mindset or a choice

the ones that make it out did not choose the fortune of having the right things planted in their minds

they didn't choose to meet the people that put them into position

basically choice/freewill is illusionary

this whole world is just gears turning on a microcosmic/macrocosmic level
