Being "rich" IMO is when you have the option not to work.

So personally, I'd rather be "rich"

Being rich looks overrated but I wouldn't know:yeshrug:
It depends on what the individual has to do to become rich.

But wait, what is rich? 100k a year? 1 million a year? And where?

Having wealth, and making that wealth generational is not overrated in the slightest I'll say that

The interesting thing is, people usually never feel rich, regardless of accumulated wealth or income. The reason being that once you reach a certain level you are more likely to associate with people at that level and that becomes the norm.

Statistically speaking from a global perspective, everyone on this board is rich just for having access to clean water, food, shelter and amenities such as internet access.

Being rich is a dream most people use to validate there existence.

Hence why so many people are never sated and always want more, and why so many people that are rich that you think should be happy are empty on the inside.

I think I saw something a while back that happiness has a correlation with wealth....but only up to a certain point.

I wish I could tell you the dollar amount but I don't remember.

Maybe another coli member has seen something similar?

The breakoff was once you hit middle class. Low 6 figures

Maybe it is at some point. After you've done everything you wanted to do that may have required money you are still going to be the same person. I know millionaires who aren't that happy with their lives. Family issues seem to be the root. Some people bounce when they get rich & don't look back.
