Being intelligent and being that one nikka that always goes "I'm really smart but I'm just lazy as shyt" to make himself feel better are two completely different things. Most dumb people really believe that they're smart but lazy because they got an A- in the second grade that one time.

It can feel like a curse because true intelligence, at least in this society is not really valued. Intelligence doesn't encourage consumer culture or wage slavery.

Like alot of times people who are intelligent naturally dont do as well in school as people who arent so much, because they tend to be more lazy.

Lazy = disinterested.

Our school system was designed to breed workers, not thinkers.

It's plenty of idiots who were obedient enough to sit in a classroom for 12-18 years for a piece of paper. It's plenty of genius level intellects who were a little TOO aware of the game being run.
