Traded Young Jrue Holiday for the #6 pick and drafted Nerlens Noel’s with a torn ACL.
Traded Mikal Bridges for Zhaire Smith
Drafted Fultz #1 with Tatum on the Board.
Drafted Simmons #1 over Ingram and Jaylen Brown
Philly could’ve had a 90’s Bulls-Like run with Embiid, Brown or Ingram and Tatum and some pieces around them even if the other picks didn’t pan out.

People keep running this narrative when it’s not necessarily true. Philly traded up to get Fultz. The Celtics were always going to take Tatum whether they stayed at #1 or not as everyone knew the Lakers were taking Lonzo.
Tatum was on the Board when the Sixers picked Fultz. After the trade Philly could’ve just picked Tatum outright at #1.
They weren’t though and everyone knew that or else Boston wouldn’t have traded down in the first place. They got an extra pick out of the deal and still got the player that they wanted.
Philly just got spooked that Boston wanted Fultz and moved up to get him.
The Markelle one is a bad break. Dude was nice in college
but got the yips after the motorcycle accident And to be fair Jaylen Brown was raw, as someone else said. Not everyone translates. Look at Josh Jackson that same year...

I'll cut Simmons some slack due to the fact he's trying to come back from a bad back injury. I know what it's like to deal with back pain and it's no joke.
With all that said I think Ben gets one more season to prove himself in Brooklyn and if he can't get it together then he's done. The Nets might say fukk it in the off-season and ship him somewhere else for a little of nothing. It ain't looking good for Ben b/c he could be out the league in another year or two.
