I don’t really care what the political spectrum is in Europe. He’s a radical left winger here.
He would not be considered a moderate in Europe either. His economic views are to the left of Scandinavia. Those countries actually don't have high corporate tax rates or large state involvement in the economy.
Socialists tend to believe that nobody should he a billionaire, and Scandinavia has quite a few billionaires. That goes for Democratic Socialists too, to my underatanding that's what the DSA believes.
And socially, he moved to de facto open borders which the left in Europe usually doesn't push for.
