Wasn't that the Lupe stan that shyt on Nas?

Isn't much bad to say about Biggie. Short career, 2 dope albums, didn't really get punked like that. Maybe nikkas would have more to clown him over if he didn't die so soon. The "I'll suck ya daddy's dikk" line does go in the pause hall of fame though :mjlol:

Not better than he did on RTD and not much better than his peers (as many people chose to believe)...

Biggie has NEVER spat better than Nas from Illmatic, IWW and parts of I am...He has never spat better than Prodigy from Infamous to Hell on Earth...

Jada Kiss spat better than Biggie in ALL their collaborations...He has NEVER spat better than DMX on IDAHIH...

Lauryn Hill was spitting way better than Biggie from the Score to Miseducation...She was spitting better than 95% of rappers for real...

Busta Rhymes on The Coming spat better than Biggie at any point in his short career...

There were just too MANY great spitters at that time for Biggie to be given GOAT status based on 2 albums...That's a slap in the face of Hip Hop...

Scarface and Willie D never get hated on, not here, not in real life

Also Ice Cube, Rakim, 8Ball/MJG, Q-Tip

Dude ain't relevant to the game like that, he gets goat contender status on GP, but with two album and only mattering on a national scale for about 3-4 years, ain't much to talk about in 2016

Can't really argue with this. "The Beef" consumes a greater part of Big's legacy than Pac's maybe due to the short body of work.

STRONGLY disagree with Big's performance being mediocre on LAD

You tryna tell me Big wasn't spittin piff on Kick in the Door? Ten Crack Commandments? Notorious Thugz? nikkaz Bleed? Story to Tell? Last Days? Long Kiss? You're Nobody? Love the Dough? Sky's the Limit?

You buggin fam

:snoop:

u do know.......
LAD got 5 mics aka classic in the hip hop bible when it drop'd
Yet, nobody talks about this so called classic album, and is the reason why you made the thread in the first place...Because there isn't much talk about Biggie anymore...:russ:

People mostly talk about Biggie when

(1) 2Pac is involved and (2) They are making GOAT lists...But where is the rampant talk about his work? For a so called goat it is pretty scarce...

Go to the Coliseum section and see how often Michael Jordan's name comes up good/bad....Almost every single day...

Biggie fans love him but he had so little material that there is nothing left to talk about...For those of us who don't believe that Biggie was superior to the rappers we enjoy, we have our favorite rappers to talk about...

That is why there is very little Biggie conversation...He didn't have a significant social or musical impact...

His legacy is tied with 2Pac's and Jay Z MONSTROUS ones...I believe this is why he is still relevant today, without those two, Biggie is Big Pun status...

Except yours is in an extreme minority bruh
As far as opinions are concerned, the minority vs majority aspects of them are irrelevant...

Why was this thread made? Because there isn't much Biggie discussions on this forum...

This fact speaks for itself...The game has moved beyond Biggie...He is mentioned in relation to 2Pac and Jay Z and when people are thinking about their GOAT lists, but he had too little music...

Biggie has maybe 15 to 20 good songs in his official catalog (I am being generous)All ...When you remove the fillers from RTD and LAD...How many good songs does Biggie have on the surface?

Jay Z "Takeover" diss of Nas' catalog could EASILY be applied to Biggie's album, but even worse...RTD was Biggie's IWW, an "okay album" if we using Jay Z' logic, and LAD subpar relative to RTD, and that is the man's career...

So, dude is beyond criticism based on a maybe 20 good song career?

I would rather listen to Biggie than Lil Wayne (I only like 1 Lil Wayne song to be exact) but with we were arguing Lil Wayne vs Biggie, I would have to go with Lil Wayne...Why? lyrically they are even, but Lil Wayne's catalog and cultural impact supersedes Biggie's...

Plus, Lil Wayne's GOAT claim is based on his own catalog, not because he beefed and died because of another potential GOAT and a different potential GOAT is carrying his name around...
