being competitive for a title? then no, 2 playoff appearances in 10 years, and those 2 times they were just happy to make it

I look at the A's Lineup every season thinking this is a Last Place Team in the Al West as far as Talent Goes
Yet.. They are always near the top of the Al West Every Damn Year
Seriously they make the Angels Loook pretty Pathetic at this point fielding a much more competitive team with maybe a third of the Offensive Fire Power
Obviously the Success of the A's is due to their excellent pitching and Scouting.. But Damn, Beane manages to do it every single year.. Which is Field a Competitive Team with Damn near no Super Star Player at All
And once someone reaches that All Star Level with the A's..YOu can Guarantee Beane will most likely trade the Player for more talent and still field a competitive team year in and year out

He made me cringe with his decision making during the mid 2000s but it's paying off now. I knew Oakland would be back because their AAA team here is killing it every year.

Dude is a good GM, but he fukked his team up by trading Cespedes. Cespedes is not a great player, but he added so much value to that team with his presence in the lineup, his swagger, etc. Look at their record with and without him it speaks volumes. It sucks because I really wanted to see another bay area world series. Oh well at least the Giants are hot

On another note I forgot who it was, but the after the cespedes trade I remember telling some breh on here that the A's offense had been horrible since july. Breh was like not its a small sample size. A month later and the offense is still trash
