The couple gave each of their 80 employees a $50,000 bonus. Employees that were given the bonus include those that worked at the couple’s three houses, Roc Nation, the 40/40 Club in Manhattan and those that were on tour. The payout was so big that some of the workers called Jay-Z’s personal assistant to make sure there wasn’t a mistake. The money came from a huge tax rebate that the couple received this year, reports News One.


One unnamed source told News One that Jay-Z isn’t tight with his money, “he even promised another bonus for Christmas. He’s extremely generous – most celebrities are super cheap when it comes to running their businesses. He knows if his employees are happy, it will benefit him in the long run. His only demand was for everyone to have fun with the money.”
