I don't believe in a universal peace. War and peace, creation and destruction are needed for balance. Can it improve? Yes. Will it be perfect? No.

Its just more rhetoric.

I feel any change that will come, will start with the young minds. It will not happen with our old asses with all our own personal agendas.

Some people just aren't race conscious. They don't believe it's their obligation to help the next man in order to elevate our race. A lot of black people don't think "collectively" just "individually" when it pertains to race. So of course, when some make it, they are not going to go out of their way to make it "easier" for another to make it, unless it's their family.

Only thing those of us who are conscious of this can do is lead by example and hope some follow.

Maybe I'm assuming but why do cats lump everybody in one category? I meet brothers and sisters daily who are black and proud. I can't speak much for the younger generation they know better but refuse to accept the climate. Is it possible to see unity today: it possible, I can never say "never" or "no." To me reinforce the same lame duck stereotypes that you mention above " blacks hate themselves" or " blacks want to be white."
