I personally think so. Absolutely.

The HOF is not just about numbers. Even tho he had those pre injury.

But yall act like he did not revitalize the Clippers for years. Nobody cared about the Clippers

When he started dunking on people early in 2010, suddenly the Clipper games went from not being on TV at all, to being flexed onto nba tv 2-3x a week. The games started selling out. People were literally coming just to see him.

THEN, they got CP3 the following year. But Blake (and to a lesser degree DJ as a sidekick) made those Clipper teams must watch. They became the hotter than the Lakers during that period.

Blake is one of those if he doesn’t get injured he’s 100% making it imo, I don’t like brehs trynna play him like he Derozan. At his 5-6 year peak he was a HOF easily, it’s just injuries derailed him. He was better than Kemp as well
You're 25. Don't speak on Shawn Kemp.
:camby:

What did Blake Griffin do that DeRozan didn't? I don't like the way people discredit DeRozan but his playoff failures don't help him. Same applies to Blake. Staying healthy matters as well.

YOURE JUST LOOKING AT NUMBERS.

A 1/2 FOCAL POINT

Nah

Blake is famous so he will get in, but I don’t think he is a HOFer. He needed a couple more prime years and postseason runs.

Peak for Peak he was better than Kemp by a decent margin lol
They have pretty similar accolades and longevity. It's pretty interesting.

I think Blake was the better player between the 2 since skill started catching up to the athleticism, but can't discount that Kemp played against better positional competition and was top dog on a team that went to the finals. I think if one made it then the other should make it.

This is true :manny: Blake and CP3 made the Clips relevant for the first time ever.

Was Kemps positional competition really that better? Blake had to against Dirk, Timmy D, LMA, KG, Kevin Love, Paul Millsap

SMF and LAX to VA and NC
Come on man 🤣 hell fukking no.

This why there needs to be an NBA Hall. The "everybody is friend" Basketball Hall takes anybody, so he'll get in at some point. May take awhile. But it'll happen.

But strictly speaking on the level of player he was, he was not a true Hall Of Fame level player.

Barkley, Malone, Rodman, C Webb, Grandmama, Mourning, not to mention centers he's had to take on as assignments like Ewing, Hakeem, etc.

Blake's hardest assignments were perimeter pick & pop bigs, with the occasional Z bo and dwight...hell he played with the most athletic 5 in the league in his era in Deandre Jordan..
