I'm working on a remote site that has WiFi available, but from the location of my room i struggle to get even 1 bar.

Moving rooms isn't an option, so i was wondering does anyone know of a program or device that will allow me to pull more of that WiFi signal down?

Reps for quality help.

Well... if you have windows there is something you MAY be able to do.

In the network configuration, if you right click on the adapter and go to properties you should see something that says "configure", sometimes the card's power or roaming...i forget, its set to medium or low make sure thats on high.

Also on your router you can make sure its transmitting at full power, this can be checked in your router settings.... um you can also try and change the channel to see if you get a better connection, sometimes the channel change can be very dramatic give it a try.

These are a couple of beginner options you can try before spending any money friend.
