Kids wanted to be supported until they died.. And he got the money.. Now imagine your average kid having this same mindset with average parents. My wife and I already discussed that modern parents failed with this "i want my kid to have all the things I didn't have".. That shyt dont work.. Need to raise these kids broke and whopping their a$$.
Whats the saying? If you spoil your kids you will raise them and your grand kids forever. I know a white lady like this right now. Her momma spoiled the youngest kids but not her, she went on to do something in her life, but her younger siblings some bums and leeches and they kids some dope fiends.
White lady momma 70 and all them bums live in her house leeching. White Lady daddy is dead and all them bums in the house don't help her momma who still working paying the bills while her leech ass kids and grand kids stay at the house laying up and bull shyt.
Fast forward now the lady I know momma sick and they think its cancer. You think them leech as kids and grandkids doing anything to help....NOPE. Yet to the end the lady I know momma talking about what my kids and grandkids (the leeches) gonna do if I am sick and pass away...

What are you talking about? If you look at the founders of some of the biggest companies (eg Zuckerberg, Bezos), they got hundreds of thousands in seed capital from their parents. That's how many of them get ahead in life. A lot of the children who are spoiled and wild' out usually have dysfunctional households where the parents spoil them to make up for said dysfunction. It's also not a coincidence that the founders of most of these big companies come from two-parent households where the parents have been married for decades.
Yep but also some of that shyt falls on the mom. As a man who had a father in the home and who was the bread winner/provider of that home, my mom stayed on us about showing our father respect for all the shyt that he did for us and if we ever said said or did some disparaging shyt toward him she would slap the spit out our mouths.
My mom would say don't you ever disrespect that man because he is your father, he is my husband and has sacrificed everything for you....even things that he shouldn't have sacrificed for you.
So respect towards my father always hit home for me.
But with Brian think about it. Dude was probably always on the road as the breadwinner so those kids were mostly raised by their mom and it seems they weren't instilled as to appreciate the shyt their father did for them. I know that shyt his sons did would have gotten me a tongue lashing from my mom and even more.
