Not to get caught up in the hype, but if Ohtani somehow ends up at 12-13 wins and 15-20 Hrs, he's MVP right :jbhmm:

I think he has a legitimate case if he can put up those numbers. Even if he doesnt win he will definitely get some MVP votes his way.

But part of being the best is some level of consistency. And Harper has dealt with injuries in every year, it seems.
The only season he managed 150 games played was his MVP year in 2015 (153 games).

More consistent, better hitter across all parts of the slash line, plays valuable defense at the most difficult position, adds baserunning. Really not close, people are just getting fatigued of Trout's dominance :yeshrug:

Gospel. I know this isn't necessarily a Trout thread, but like you said, I feel like ppl tend to forget just how freakish he is.
