shyt is worse for kids because it doesnt stop at 3:00 when school ends or when the principle or teacher gets involved. With Twitter and Facebook a kid can get bullied all day long without any adult knowing. But for the most part kids are soft as shyt today and dont no how to settle their disputes with a simple fist fight. Say what you want but settling it with the hands is better than picking up a gun which is what a lot of kids do today. When we were in school everyone was fair game to get picked on and some got it worse than others. But for the most part it was good natured and i dont think anyone ever killed themselves over it. But i do realize that the times have changed. I went to school when the idea of humor was pulling the chair from under somebody. Some shyt that would probably get you suspnded today.

boxing, karate, wrestling, etc etc are available to these kids if they tired of taking someone's shyt..its not hard
to also add...i also got tested...surprisingly not in elementary but middle and high school...i was a geek back then and somebody would try test me because of that...however i did have had athleticism and importantly i had hands courtesy of boxing....fast hands, long arms, with bony knuckles...for one punch you'd prolly take like 5 in return and possibly me cutting you up
...i didn't even have to knock out nikkas to make them stop
...now the one thing i never wanted to do fight in school because my pops didn't play that suspension shyt..however outside of school i had no problem fighting 
...they used to think shyt was sweet then next thing they know..eye(s) closing or closed and bleeding from the nose or some cut somewhere

The way you hear about bullying now it makes me wonder does any of these kids have older brothers, sisters, or cousins and shyt. When I was in school, if the shyt got out of hand usually you see the person's who's getting bullied thug ass brother or something show up and have that bully

Parents are the ones who are softer. Back in the day, you got bullied, your dad bought you some boxing gloves and taught you how to protect yourself. Nowadays, there's meetings and shyt and changing schools and shyt. Scust.
America as a whole is softer. I got whippings...now they charge for parental abuse...I fukked cats up...now they charge for battery....let kids grow up as kids. Hell...we didn't have any concussion doctors when I played football...I turned out ok. Being over protective is a problem...cats are too sissified nowadays.

I remember I got my a$$ kicked playing football outside by this big, fat a$$ 6th grade n!gga in my neighborhood, and I was only in the 4th grade, and skinny as hell at the time. He always f*cked wit me for some reason until that day.
I went in the house and went to my room before my ma could see me wit tears in my eyes, like a lil' hoe. She came in the room and I tried to play it off. I don't know how she knew, but she threatened to take away my TV and my N64 unless I went outside and, "F*ck his fat a$$ up and let him know" (her exact words).
So I walk outside and heard the door close and lock behind me and I was like
. I walked by down the hill, pushed that n!gga in an ant pile and went with no regard, cussin' and all. I knew if I stopped, that was my a$$ so I kept goin' until they peeled my off of him
I beat his a$$ and went back in the house, sat down wit my capri-sun, Pringles and watched Hey Arnold like nothin' happened
. Him and his parents came to my house, talked to my ma and made him apologize first and I was like, "I forgive you..........and I'm sorry too

Sounds like you was bytch made breh. nikkas tried shyt with me when I started school as a freshman. I stomped a nikka out in the gym. Next thing I know dude was like me and you cool breh. Dude had the whole grade level shook.
I was the youngest of 4 boys though, so by the time I hit the 4th grade my hand skills and reflexes were legendary. My older brothers beat my ass up too many times for me to be losing fights to nikkas remotely close to my age. nikkas know who they can and can't fukk with.
Growing up though my brothers were terrorists. I remember nikkas in the 6th grade coming to get me talking bout my brother getting handcuffed. I go in his class room and all I see was some nikka on a stretcher and my brother was in handcuffs like "nikka was talkin reckless

Combination of kids being softer, adults being softer and more PC, plus the added dimension of Internet harassment. Plus kids don't play outside anymore, those random kids from various blocks that I hung with definitely helped toughen me up
