does your brethren not refer to themselves as the n-word?:mjpls:
Yeah nigguh, We do. My point was words aren't "oppressive". If you honestly think this

Is synonymous with calling a women the b word then your lost. I can call Ellen Degeneres bytch all day but that won't affect her income, career or life in general in any major way.

...

there are black women.
What do you mean by there are black women? If you're saying op is referring to black women in the op then my stance doesn't change. Once again, the word bytch isn't oppressing anyone. Take Nicki Minaj for example, she's a successful pop artist and uses the word frequently(whether you like her or not is besides the point). If you feel it's demeaning to women, all right cool I understand that point of view but it aint "oppressive".

The words are synonymous. It's not necessarily keeping all women down. It does have a negative impact. I use the word all the time and will continue to do so. But it does negatively effect women's minds. Especially young women.

They called us n*****s when they lynched and burned us, they called us bytches when they beat and raped us. Both are derogatory words.

shyt, black women get called n***** bytch and black men bytch n*****.
