Doesnt melo have a no trade clause one and 2 this isn't happening so why are we entertaining this . He also spends time in LA and Baltimore is he going there ? He's not a free agent and the Knicks aren't doing this deal unless they get the pieces that make the Bulls good anyway .

He has a contract , he can't just go to Chicago.

I'm not sure what melo's deal entails...still it's interesting, if Phil doesn't plan on making the playoffs in the next 2 years that probably isn't favorable for melo at his age...if both parties come to an agreement to part ways I don't see why this couldn't happen. That frees up a lot of $$$$ for NY...which would be a good thing tho

This front office should have gotten melo here.

And if Melo was smart he would have took a 2 year deal here in Chicago then cashed out the way lebron and probably wade about to. Lebron tried to show him the way twice, both times melo screwed himself.
Now he gets to rot in ny and in another year or so when that team still sucks he will ask for a trade in which no one will do because of his contract then he will be old and washed and sign with some one for the mmle in 5 years.
