Funny that Heat stans in one thread laughing about the chances Carmelo Anthony never wins a ring.......and in another thread talking about rings dont mean matter when I say LeBron needs more than 1 fukking ring to be talked about in the same breath as a Michael Jordan

lebron is closer to jordan's level than he is to carmelo's. he can sit at the table with the greats like magic, MJ, bill russell, kareem and talk winning multiple MVPs, being the best player in the league for years, winning a championship, etc.

what's melo going to talk about? how winning a scoring title was the biggest accomplishment so far in his 10-year career?

Im not arguing that..... LeBron been surpassed Carmelo back in 2007.

Im just saying that its funny that in one thread, yall laughing at Carmelo for not having any rings and possibly never getting any rings due to LeBron shutting down the East and in another thread, I got somebody repping LeBron saying that rings dont matter:ohhh:

I'm still giving Melo a shot.

He just needs to be coached by an elite coach, not some coach who

encourages his bad habits and employs a wack offense.

Either that or he should have chosen the Bulls to get traded too. But no way did he think he had a better chance to have success in New York ahead of these teams. The Nuggets with him could have been scary good and probably would have snuck in the Finals one of these past three years if he had stayed and was on the same page as George Karl.

:snoop: Melo screw up his chance to get to the Finals. The Nuggets were getting better but he wasn't patient and didn't see a bright future with the franchise. I don't know why he thought it was a good idea to go to the East when the Heat are building a dynasty. Next, the Bulls are going to be a threat when Rose comes back.

For a while it looked like KG and Paul Pierce would never win a championship either.

You never know what the future might hold....

Never understood why Detroit drafted Darko over Melo :what:

That Detroit squad at that time wit Melo would have been a serious problem

Because a bunch of retarded ass sports journalist (mostly white ones) felt Darko was more "NBA ready" than anyone else that year because he'd played a bit against professional players. They also kept playing up the fact that he was more "mature", "humble", and "Hard working" than Lebron or Melo. I clearly remember a lot of people saying he was gonna be the next Sabonis.

There were even a couple of dumbasses out there arguing that he should have been taken over Lebron. :snoop:
