Commanders fan checking in:

Wentz is a moron, and a QB that had the physical skills to overcome his many flaws as a QB, but those physical tools are gone now.

He was great for only 2 years of his career in Philly, when he could elude and evade the rush physically. Mentally, he’s a weakling, and he’s a head case when it comes to listening to coaching. Here in Washington, he absolutely refused to take the check down, if the play broke down. He was either throwing deep balls over 20 yards, or getting sacked. Once he had those injuries in Philly, and lost his escapability, he became an awful QB.

Everywhere he’s been, his teammates never fukked with him. Have you ever seen them vouch or take up for him while on the team, or after he was traded/cut? He’s one of those religious nuts into hunting, and probably MAGA, so no one really cared about him personally.
This… as a person who has a lot of friends who are eagles fans, I said this once he got injured and they went in their run. Skill set wise, coming into the league he was much better than Jalen. But I told my friends, Jalen has those as they say “intangibles”. Like Jalen was a winner and you could see the team play for him, not with him. This is an immeasurable skill that you want from your qb. A winner…

I would tell my eagles friends y’all have ur qb, but they didn’t see it, until the end of last year lol

-Injury prone
-ended bad with basically every team he's been on
-personality wise, not someone who improves your locker room
-not good enough to move the needle if you ever do play him
-probably not an asset in the QB room, not coachable

If he really still loves the game and wants to be apart of it he'll sign for the min next offseason and embrace just being one of the guys and teaching a younger QB. If his heart isn't built for that then he's done, he's made his money and already racked up a ton of injuries, he can walk away comfortably.

Even if he does the work to get past his personality issues, he isn't a guy you want teaching your young QB anything. Dude is a dummy on the field.

Dude was a serious locker room cancer during his Philly days a d the black players didn't fukk with him.

That's not even counting his inability to listen to coaches etc.. dude also has the body of glass as he has been injured since his high school days.

:comeon:Nah he’s just washed

I think the point is there is no such thing as washed. Geno smith, baker mayfield, Jared Goff, etc were all ‘washed’…but a guy who was the would-be mvp is unplayable?

It seem like 95% of QBs nowadays are system -dependent so it makes no sense

But I think the answer is personality/temperament.
