Is Chic Fil-A the most overrated fast food joint ever?

Native to what areas though because I've lived in every region but the west coast and there was never not a Chik Fil A.

Chick-fil-A is a southern brand that has grown nationwide. So the hype, lore around it started there. Same thing with In N Out on the West Coast.

I've yet to actually taste something that's not absolutely bland.

This. Their chicken sandwiches are bland af. You got to make a cocktail of sauces for it to have any type of flavor

We only have a couple here in the Greater Toronto Area. I went on the very first day to the downtown Toronto location opened in 2019. There were LGBTQ protesters in front. I still went in with the all the other people and really enjoyed the spicy chicken sandwich. Hope they open more locations in the Greater Toronto Area.

If Chick-fil-A started getting into the bone-in chicken game they'd probably be GOAT tier (like Popeyes) but as is they're just a great chicken chain but I've noticed their buzz/hype has died down tremendously compared to a few years ago when they were trendy asf and it was considered sacrilegious to not be a fanatic.

Yes....most people go for the customer service. It's just a regular chicken sandwich IMO

Absolutely not, they are the only fast food joint with decent customer service skills

Nobody making faces and twisting their lips when you ask for extra condiments

Their food quality is pretty gahdamn consistent

Their menu is consice enough that you aint sitting at the speaker wondering what you should get for 5 minutes, only to be letdown halfway through your meal because it aint even hitting

I had a good sandwich from there, I also liked the spicy nuggets from McDonalds, the pretzel bar burger from Wendy's and I'm a huge Church's fan.
