Chief Keef is the most influential rapper since 2012. Old heads denying him cause they think the quality of his music is subpar, but he is easily the most influential rapper under 30. In terms of classic albums most people over 18-22 will say no, but in terms of influence he is undeniably a legend. Keep in mind that most people on this subforum would still deny that Gucci and Wayne are legends because they don't like their music

most people over 25 is going to agree if he is a legend or not, weather it's not in a positive way which it's not you have to be blind not to see the influence that the whole drill movement left on this generation.

i wouldn't say keef is a "legend"

but you cant deny his impact, work rate and controversies , sure to some he is a legend but he was part of a changing cycle in rap around that time, no doubt

Keef is supposed to be where Future is at right now, real talk.

Finally Rich is a classic album of this decade & Back From The Dead is a classic mixtape

REAL Sosa fans know that Keef really had like 20-25 hits, not just I Don't Like & Love Sosa

He put his WHOLE CITY ON, like it or not Twista, nor Kanye West nor the Po Pimpin' song made the world give a fukk about Chicago hip-hop. Keef's music was a lens into the crime-ridden streets of South Side Chicago.

ALL THESE RAPPERS OUT OF CHICAGO WITH BUZZ SHOULD BE KISSING THE GROUND KEEF WALKS ON. NO ONE WOULD BE GIVING A fukk IF HE NEVER BLEW.

The problem is that Keef was WAAAY too young & immature & from a negative environment to handle stardom that fast and his management team were just nikkas he knew from the block.

If he had competent people around him Keef would be a star right now doing Drake collab albums, going on worldwide arena tours, endorsements out the ass, and he would've had GBE as a label on & popping and would've been signing up & coming artists out of Chicago, like Montana of 300, Famous Dex, L'A Capone (if he got out of the street soon enough smh) and he could've been signing nikkas not from Chicago because Chief has some RABID ass stans. Think about it, Keef should have a dead career and people STILL anticipate this nikka's music.

I think the closest we've been to seeing a nikka have an organic street buzz since Keef is Kodak Black. Kodak makes all the right business & music moves unlike Keef, but this little nikka can't keep his ass out of jail

pretty much, put i dont think he should be where future is
, id say futures music is very easy to digest even if he makes 3 mixtapes in a row
keef is the young gucci, he would drop mixtape after mixtape, he even had one mixtape were he is fully drugged out after he got the interscope money and moved to that first mansion , not everyone could handle that type of music , only the die hard fans

also , you have to remember "production"
young chop was a vital element in keefs blow up cause people wanted to hear that sound

but tbh all this is a "what if" situation , we have to respect where keef is coming from, young kid makes it out the gutter, takes his close family with him but still has ties to the skreets, has a bunch of money and living the dream, at that age alot of us would of slowed down on music and really just live life on a YOLO tip
