I get the impression that he isn't see as "real", he's not in the trap or from the streets and is into stuff that is not typically black. not to say those who are or do are lesser but that's the popular image within rap and what will get you rated more so.

he'd probably be my favorite rapper.
The problem is with his talent as an emcee, I feel that his albums aren't doing him justice. Dude needs to get in the zone and pump out a 4/5 album at the least.
