Neither have looked great in camp. Vick has been playing better over the last week. But when the time comes, if they're both neck and neck, Kelly will take the younger Foles. Vick has to beat Foles soundly to keep the job.

The sadness in this is that it should be the other way around...Foles has not given you anything to warrant a #1 depth chart position going into camp and he should have to completely outclass Mike to get the job...

If Foles get the job, the locker room would be in disarray

Are you sure about neither looking great in camp. Just about every beat writer who has been at camp day in, day out have been saying vick has been separating himself from foles and has looked good when the pads are on. I guess in the end it would come down to rather kelly wants to go young & have a 4-5 game win season or start vick & see if he can turn out a winning season. I'm sorry I just don't buy "vick is a old qb @33". Still one of the fastest qb's, just has to hold on the ball & get the ball out quicker, I also believed he became punch drunk with all the hits last year, wasn't all his fault.

Just looking at the way chip ran his offense in oregon it seems to be suited towards a mobile QB. The read option seems to be the wave now, foles can't run that. With all that being said even though vick has had good a good camp so far, if he looks bad in the first & second preseason game or IF foles just outplays him I think it's very plausible he gets cut. And if vick is the starter day one, that leash will be very short but I just believe foles isn't the guy to lead philly to the "promise land" it's just that SOME eagle fans will take ANYONE over vick which is idiotic.
