They’re not wholly the same crowd, but I’m sure there’s some overlap. CB is a proxy for a larger issue in the Black community of a lot of women entertaining violent men because they’re considered attractive or got motion. There’s a reason it’s (unfortunately) become a thing among brehs of not intervening in public domestic violence situations. What message does it send to young Brehettes to see Brehettes fawning over a breh who beat the brakes off a woman?

Like I said, I think Chris gets somewhat of a pass because of how young he was. But this ain’t a CB thing or a current generation thing, famous men been beating women for generations - James brown, Mike Tyson, dr dre, etc - and money, fame, power, charisma, looks have had women still attracted to them

Agreed and when we point it out there's excuses and juelzing. You'll never see a male celebrity from another community beat the brakes off one of the most popular celebrity women with public evidence and still receive fandom from women in that community the way CB does. They know what a terrible message that sends to the younger generations of women in their communities.
