It's really underrated how much he's been able to reinvent himself and come up with something new every time he's around. He's living proof that there's a way to keep your character fresh and relevant even in the current era.

2008-2010: Suits and ties, large vocabulary, speaking slowly, claiming to be the best in the world
2012: Staying silent then calling out the wannabes, light up jacket, hitting below the belt in the Punk feud
2016-present: List of Jericho, Gift of Jericho, scarves, "It," stupid idiots

He's already had three distinct personalities in the same decade. Meanwhile, Cena's still wearing colorful T-shirts and jean shorts like it's 2007.

Because he caters 100% to the marks, when he had that chinese feud with KKKenny Omega he was giving behind the scenes on everything... while the play fighting feud was still taking place :mjlol:

and people wonder why 80% of the audience has stopped watching this shyt

Jericho has had people talk shyt about and unlike him (including right here)

but this run the past 2 and a half years has change that.

I'd say Austin and Rock are probably more or just as loved amongst fans and peers

His last couple of runs put him over with me...I'd never properly warmed to him as a face or a heel - even his debut seemed overhyped at the time, couldn't see what everyone was marking for - but he could always go inside the ring and I've always bought the match if not the angle around it.

I don't think he's in the top chair, but he's at the table nowadays at least.

But would Jerichos shyt be all that great if Rocky and Austin where still around. Fam barely made a mark in attitude era, save for that match and debut.

Jericho is somehow a GOAT and underrated at the same time but I would have to go with Ric Flair and The Rock. The bravado and personality that Flair showed in the NWA have inspired many athletes and rappers to pay homage to him keeping him relevant in this era.
