I have had 0 luck with CL, I sell sneakers and I get 20 messages, 90% spam, 10% people who never show up to meet. I honestly think I am like 1 for 20+ on CL listings. I stick with Ebay and Twitter now
eBay is easier than Craigslist. especially when you get fair market value for your stuff on eBay. Print a label on your PC and tape it to a box then take it to the post office. It may not be the best but it's the easiest for me...

I've never gotten even fair market value for anything I've sold on Craigslist. I only sell stuff on there if I can't get a box for it to sell on eBay. the #1 dikk move people pull on CL is showing up to the buy with less money than they agreed to buy it for then saying "all I got is..." because If they can get you out the house and get you to meet them you'll be more inclined to make the sell even if it is for less because you had to do all that.
The real savvy buyers on CL never lowball they just send the email or make the call / text and set up them meeting then short you face to face.
everybody gets good deals on CL. as a seller you give those good deals not receive them. I usually pay people what they ask if I think it's fair.Yeah I get good deals on CL my Breh I think its just area related.

I tried to buy a white PS3 off this kid yesterday. Post said he'd take $130 so I offered that and he goes what about $145. I told him $130 was the best I'd do. He told me he'd call me back when he got off work. Never called back and went online and changed his post asking for $150 minimum. I'm willing to bet in 3 days he calls me back trying to sell it for $130 cause nobody will pay what he's asking for.
One guy had a pair of SMS audio over the ears on there for $100. I told him I'd give him $50 and he said no. 2 days later he called me back like you can get them for $50 I declined. It's been a couple months and he's still reposting them.
People on Craigslist aren't necessarily looking to buy what you're selling. they're just browsing and looking for good deals in general. They could take it or leave it. The buyer on eBay is looking for the exact item you're selling.

yeah you're selling Xboxes and iPads. I sold my Galaxy S5 on CL and got $350 for it. Go on CL with a highend TV and see if you even get half it's worth. I tried to sell my big screen on their I paid $1500 for the same year and couldn't even get $500 for it to the point where I'd have had to take such a huge loss on it wasn't worth selling it. So it sits in my living room unplugged and unused for over a year because its too big to ship on eBay and nobody on CL will pay what it's worth.I'm talking about me selling items...I sold my Xbox, iPad, multiple phones, surround sound, tvs on there and had a really good success rate...I haven't even been stood up.
