That’s a great classic song but nah Crew is better

And Crew has rapping and is a lot more of a "DC we here" song and was probably the bigger song relative to their respective eras. Crew is still a legit nostalgic anthem people can throw back at any function

Nah breh,

It's still not even above Welcome to DC from Mambo Sauce....but crew is this generations Pretty Girls

So we got a tie between Pretty Girls by Wale and Crew by Goldlink, with the edge depending on your age.

in 09, Pretty Girls hit like no other Wale Song did....was truly undeniable if you were outside.

perfect blend of go-go,rap and Gucci was on fire at the time with the feature.

I agree, breh. Shyt was :banderas:

It also brings the go-go and hip-hop relationship in the city full circle. You’re used to hearing go-go versions of popular hip hop and R&B songs. Wale reversing it and paying homage to Backyard by remaking their Pretty Girls joint was perfect. Also, like you said, Guwop was very lit at that time. Windows were rolled down
