this map is accurate. First circle is legit and then everything within the second circle is legit as well. Gaithersburg gotta go by road but my girl at the time was from there and all the guys from that area were in dc a lot still.

Third circle I didn't really see people from that area around but I guess that would be the Diaspora and it wasn't unheard of. I think they got a lot of the same TV stations and papers.

Dc is weird. Met good rappers but they were all underground doing their own thing. A lot i'd find at Bar nun on U street. I'd find street rappers mixed with Former Duke Ellington kids. Other than that for a chocolate city most music everywhere was not rap. There was a lot of diversity in the acts...And prior to that I think the DC are did RNB and gogo music more and jammed to that. Especially Gogo.
