Is cutting cable really worth it if you use multiple streaming services

Depends on the cost of cable and how you use and manage the streaming services. You can get cheap accounts online or just subscribe during certain times of the year if you tend to watch at your own pace or during the season premiere time. That or get a fire stick.

no need to get all of them, you can get like two different subscriptions and share your accounts with a family or friend thats willing to share their accounts to different services.

Comcast Cable is 90 a month for me.

I just call and threaten to to cancel it every year and then they put me on some special deal.

I get hulu through spotify and I pay for Netflix

That's all.

I've slowly started reverting to old "much cheaper ways" :troll: because with all these companies now wanting to exclusively stream their content has killed the motivation to "cut the cord". Its now even worse because a lot of stations are now making online content for stuff that would have aired on their normal channels (looking at you CBS). So now you have to get content from them in two places. I'm not trying to have 10 different streaming services.

Corporate greed is killing the system. No one is happy to just let Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon stream their content anymore. Everyone wants to be the next Netflix knowing that no one is going to pay for all these services. shyt, its even happening to sports. I'm not trying to pay for ESPN+ to watch exclusive boxing matches. fukk out of here. I already have DAZN and thinking about getting rid of that.

Yep definitely just off the strength of not having Comcast or anyone else have you in a stranglehold for all of your cable and internet services.

if I need to switch or cancel something, has no effect on anything else I’m doing. Plus you aren’t in a contract or anything for streaming services

I got an idea for an invention. Since everybody and they momma got a different streaming service, what if i could consolidate all of them to one app or a box (like fire tv, roku, appletv). All your streaming services in one convenient package, all in once place. Maybe even for fun add a random play mode, where it plays random episodes of TV shows and movies, puts them on different channels. Once it takes off, I can start bundling it with other services. Like internet or phone.
