I've been thinking the same, I have Netflix, and a full cable movies plus everything cable subscription, it's $200/month for internet/cable. I hate paying that bill, but there are weeks where I get so much out of just watching movies I haven't seen from the 90's or rediscovering old favorites, way more so than the mid grade stuff on Netflix.
I rarely watch Netflix, only for the original series, (Bloodline, Mindhunters, come to mind) I watch cable way more often, because I like to come home, and watch the first hour of Great Expectations (1998), or the last 30 minutes of Point Break, or The Game (1997) on a Tuesday night, without shuffling through a wasteland of content, I have no interest in. I think that eventually the content wars will make it so hard to pick and choose, you will end up paying median 12.99 for like 5 different streaming services, which is basically a cable bill.
