Is cutting cable still worth it in 2019-2020?

I have a paper just like this posted up in my cubicle when I counsel black folks about finances.

cable is the biggest rip off.

people always say. How am I going if to watch the news?

lol I get all my news updates on Facebook anyway.

sports? 99.9% of all sport segments are literally posted on YouTube for free literally a few minutes after it airs on TV.
no lies told.

cut the cord 3 years ago and never looked back. Smart tvs got all kinds of apps now. Got a $20 HDTV Antenna to get all local broadcast stations, and I got Al-Jazeera app on my TV for any type of world news I need

I just pay $39/mo for 100M internet

I haven't had cable for over 5 years now.

I pay less than $50 for unlimited internet and stream everything.

Basketball, football, movies, shows, anything.

Netflix specials, stream online, not paying for that.

News, read 10 articles in the morning plus updates sent to my phone.

The only reason people are paying for these services is because they want to talk about it immediately. HBO shows get put up an hour after airing.

Anything on tv can be found using the internet you're paying for anyways.

Cutting cable doesn’t work if you’re a huge live sports fan like me. I tried it for about a year and eventually had to come crawling back.

I stream sports shyt for free thanks to Kodi and Live streams on the net.
I don't even pay PPV too. You missing out bigmon.

There's people paying double that for cable.

If cable companies didn't get greedy and kept a similar flat rate most people wouldn't be cutting cable
I paid like $90 a month for cable and internet.
I tried to get rid of cable but cable alone is like $70.
So we kept in and they give us a discount because I basically call and threaten to cancel it every year.
I'm about to see what other internet I can get in my area.
But my girl actually watches TV so she pays the bill.

Free hulu and Netflix ao I'm good.

Also if you have your cellphone service through Verizon then you will get the first full year of DisneyPlus free then $5.99 per month after that.

So Verizon users should double check to see if they’re eligible before you give your credit card info to Disney.

:ohhh:
