And am I wrong for :mjlol: at some of those comments

I mean, I guess its a real thing for this generation, but I can't relate, like at ALL

Why not just delete your profile and/or turn off the computer?

I feel as of these kids aren't built for real life at all if they can't handle this. If I took this to heart like them, I would have been killed myself over comments I've got on the net and XboxLive

I guess I should start sympathizing since I'll be having kids in the foreseeable future

Do any members of TheColi feel as if they're a victim of cyber bullying?

Or are we cut from a different cloth?

I think cyber bullying could be worse than real life bullying. If you get bullied at school you still get to go home, if your classmates post something embarrassing about you on instagram/twitter, etc that shyt can go viral. Not only will the whole school see it but the whole world will be laughing at your expense as well. Yall are associating bullying with physical abuse but that mental ether can be more powerful and it lasts a lot longer.

THIS.

I agree that online bullying is significantly worse that real life bullying.

Online bulling aka someone getting roasted on twitter is viewed by thousands, retweeted, shared, there on a database for life. If people google you it can come up and is there forever unless you change your name or some shyt.

Offline bullying is usually just within your immediate school/area.

cyber bullying is a real thing, with kids being brought up with social media it can get messy at times.

If you have grown ass people that know better not to invest a lot into facbook, twitter etc. Just imagine how much it mean to kids and to have people poke fun at you while youre on there is a lot to take in. Especially if you can't punch them in their face like how i wish i could to do some of yall on here.

Bullying someone over the internet is significantly more cowardly too. At least in real life you're putting yourself in a position to get swung on.

I agree, but I think it matters how much stock and personal information you choose to put out there.

But I can see if a kid really doesn't have a social life and stays on the computer, it would be very damaging.

General cyber bullying (name calling etc) like in that video is something that everyone goes through and isn't to be taken personal. Very pussified imo

But the thing you're talking about like twitter shyt could be life damaging and I agree. But, at the same time, cyber bullies in that aspect only have as much ammo as you give them. How much of your life do you choose put on the net?

I think it's only serious if it's on an account that showcases your actual identity (i.e., facebook, twitter, instagram).

I ain't losing sleep over someone bullying my username :rudy:

I didnt watch the video in the OP. I guess your perspective is about getting bullied by online strangers, im talking about your classmates getting online and putting your business out there. But to answer your other statement, I wouldnt necessarily consider being upset with name calling pussified. These are still kids, some adults murder other adults for name calling. I guess what im trying to say is encouraging the youth to fight back or get over it is a simplified macho stance. Everyone aint built like that, how about we encourage our youth to not pick on people in the first place?
