Diondon
Thanks to the lawyers uh, I marbled the foyer
He was a truly special player. I hope so, sentimentally wise
That would be a wrong assumption about Rose. Bill Walton managed to get an MVP during his injury riddled career. Granted he won a ring as the man.....and one as part of a great Celtics team, but he missed SEASONS worth of games in his career. But like Tre said, using that argument is being intellectually dishonest because Rose is the only one who had a short run as an elite player. Damn near all of them had HOF resumes without the MVP. Rose’s circumstances are the first of its kind in basketball, so using that as a precedent is kinda illogical.
Hence why I asked about the Giannis hypothetical.

I will say this a final time. We all know who is currently in the Basketball Hall of Fame. Recently a man who didn't play in college, and never won a single playoff series (as an active player) in the NBA got into the Hall.Walton is the closest example but he still won those two championships and also had a legendary 4-year run in college.
Rose made it to the conference finals once and was a one-and-done player

D Rose the peoples champ he...he deserves to get in though. Ive only seen white dudes hate on him
Career cut short? He’s still playing and going into his 10th season.

Anybody that thinks he won’t get in obviously hasn’t taken a look at who’s already in the HOF
it’s the easiest hall to get in

Respect from his peers
And in that 1 year, he got Memphis to the NCAA championship game.
Yup.
