I don't think Rose gets in though that 6th man award he could have gotten a few years back would have helped his case. If he slugs along and plays till 40 and ends up with 20,0000 points it could happen but that's a big ask of him right there.

if he had stayed in college a couple years and won back to back at memphis or something he might have been.

Derrick Rose captured the public's heart early on in his career before the injury.

But injuries happen to a lot of guys. That's just the game, so you have to judge the career the way it played out.

1 ROY
1 MVP
3 time All Star

That's pretty weak for the Hall of Fame.

Why write 1 ROY when you can only win it once you cornball. The bar will not be lowered if he gets in, let my nikka Pooh through mayne

Oh I'm sorry
Does it make a fukking difference if I just write ROY instead of 1 ROY?

The man played 15 years and went to 3 all star games, and won 0 championships. Never even appeared in an NBA Finals.

What exactly are you hinging his HOF argument on?
A couple of fukkin highlights from 2010?

Be serious here.

Many different parameters can be used to assess if a player is HoF. In Rose's case it's youth and what he did at such a young age, which is unheard of. Injuries stopping that is also factored in. So I'd say yes. In other instances you have people who just played mad years, consistently, but did reach the same heights.

I mean being the best basketball player in the world, even if just one year, is very rare. Only about 36 guys have an MVP.

drose at his prime was a serious contender. he was right up there with lebron and dwight in the east. injuries and other bs got in his way. was never the same after the acl tear.

would have been a first ballot hof without the injury. now i think he's a fringe hof'er. mostly based on the mvp and what could have been. dude was nasty but reckless in the lane.

IN THE HOF.

RARE IT IS TO BE
THE fukkING NBA MVP
YET ALONE THE YOUNGEST EVER?

37 OUT OF 4900 PLAYERS
IN NBA HISTORY HAVE MVPS
