for 5 minutes the DIAMOND CUTTER was colder than the STUNNER. Stone Cold was a bit plodding with his kick-hook-driver combo.
DDP, by contrast, was lighting fast and hit it from the top rope, from reversals, and within the first 30 seconds of a match.
Plus, DDP could hide the fact that his move-set was limited. (It was broad by today's standards, though.)
I'll always give DDP his propers: he was a whack azz lower-midcarder when he first came to WCW. By the tiem Nitro became popular he raised his mic-skills, his ring work and he figured out how to make his finisher the most dominant in the industry.
And then along came Stone Cold. ;)
