1 had character...the silent protagonist created a better sense of immersion, the game was balanced between shooting and story segments, enemies didn't just appear behind you for a cheap scare, the pacing was top notch....it was just a better game all around through and through.
Dead space 2 was generic in comparison.
Ooooooooooooooooooo so enemies appeared behind you and you got scared. Yes 2 was way more traumatizing on the psyche then 1. I can see how you had trouble handling the experi3nce. You probably not an elite gamer and played on normal though instead of hard core

I'm not an elite gamer I just play games I like. Part 2 was a huge downgrade gameplay wise. Deal with it.

Dead Space 2 was cool, I was confused on the last fight for a little bit because I wanted to fukking kill Nicole so bad because she comes off like a crazy stalker ex-girlfriend but then I remembered I was there for the marker. I think I stunned her twice using the Line Gun then shot up the marker with my Pulsefire and it was a done deal

Literally the only video game I legitimately quit playing.I feel like i been through PTSD playing this fukkin game. The music is fukking grating and intense, the enemies are running fast as shyt. The camera make me lose sight of fukk nikkas that im trying to blast. When i know im about to fight 10 necromorphs i find the nearest corner with no vents and merk. After i play i make sure i watch happy stuff so i dont have necromorphs in my dreams. After i beat dead space 2 i felt like id been through a war. Im not even half way through part 3 and this shyt is already UGH status. I feel sorry for the cacs that had to sit and play this shyt all day every day for years on end.Give that man a raise.
I stopped at Ch. 9 (I don't even remember anymore). I do want to go back and finish, though.
I only played the first 1 but i really didnt find it scary.
