is Deja vu the most unexplainable phenomenon in the world?

What I wanna know is who are the people in my dreams that I have never seen before in my life, on tv, real life nothing

You've likely seen them before...people you've passed on the street, strangers you see throughout your day, your brain records their faces and uses them as fill-ins in your dreams.

A good way to describe dream images is....everything you see generates a lottery ball that is placed in a big container. The more you see something, the more lottery balls that represent it get added to the container. When you go to sleep, your brain holds a sort of lottery drawing, so obviously the things most common to you are more likely to get chosen (e.g. family/friends, your home/workplace, etc.) with the occasional rare sighting thrown in the mix.

I think its kind of like your brain is putting together the peices of info coming in a little faster than normal, when normally theres a slight delay. So, when this happens, it feels like something has happened already.

Basically, what im trying to say is, youre talking to some one in mall. You see this person, you see the surrounding area, you hear what they are saying, your brian interputs, and readies an answer, then you reply, etc, etc and everything comes full circle. Normally, this is a defined step by step process: 1-2-3-4-5, etc

But when deja vu occurs, 1 mixes into 2, and 2 mixes into 3, etc, etc and instead of tis being a train of thoughts and following the pattern your brain is used to, its like the steps on layed on top of each other and thats what how your memory is stored to save space and recalled later on. So, your brain is kind of confused because this situation thats currently going on is actually behaving like a stored memory.

So, you keep having this feeling of this current encounter as something you have already experience.

What I read is that you're not actually seing something that you already saw...it's your brain that fukks up slightly at that moment, and confuses the info about the present for some info about the past. You never actually saw the scene before, but for whatever reason your brain commits an error and interprets as if you did. So you ARE seeing whatever you see for the first time, but your brain acts like it's a memory, yet you know it's not, hence the confusion.

This is the best explanation I've seen. Crazy how you can be out of sync with your own mind

I just took that in, I didn't realize I do the same thing. I have reoccurring dreams with people I never met, or seen before.

Deja Vu is normal for me. I also dream dreams that end up coming to life. Ever been slightly afraid to dream? Constantly hoping all my dreams are positive.

Énouement: (n) The bittersweetness of having arrived in the future, seeing how things turn out, but not being able to tell your past self.
For me it's going from printing directions from MapQuest.com to them having an app I can download on my phone.
Torrenting music to streaming music being embraced by the music industry.
This may not sound fancy to anyone but being able to save and open PDFs on my phone is pretty dope.

I read somewhere that your brain can't make up new faces. So you seen these people somewhere. Think of all the strangers you have seen in the mall, elevators, waiting rooms, by your lane on a red light, etc.

No supercomputer to this day can fukk with the human brain. I have heard music too that blew my mind in dreams. I once heard some shyt that sounded like earth song by mj but was more grandiose sounding. It was dope. I used to lucid dream by dream characters always attack me (not violently) and make me have false awakenings that lead to me really waking up. Only one time I had a false awakening and what I can describe as a witch attacked me with super natural powers. She was floating and shocked me lmao. Wtf breh. You got tips? I was still on the stage of feeling heavy too move. Never been able to stabilize a lucid dream. shyt always lasts for seconds

there are a couple scientific explanations, one being the The Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon.

brehs touched on it above; u come across tons of things and just don’t notice it and ur brain rearranges it in a way that seems meaningful to u personally but it’s just unnoticed patterns, among other things

The Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon

another thing that plays in is that ur memory isn’t as secure as u think it is and it’s easy to plant false memories, influences, infectious ideas etc. that u just take on and start to personify. perhaps like the idea of “dejavu” in the first place compared to the actual fact that ur memory/brain is a pattern detecting machine; anthropomorphizing it

Four ways that other people can warp your memory

memory is an interesting topic. pop societies views on what memories are are completely false lol. as with much of pop-information

really good information to add to ur critical thinking tool box. since media/popculture is so intent on spreading disinformation and anti-intellectualism. lest u get swayed by “alternative theories” ie. conspiracy theories, new age mysticism etc
